Jo Christian @ oterbloggen's fine article (in Norwegian) on his creative use of flashes has inspired me to enter the world of flash-photography. I guess having it dedicated to me makes me somewhat biased.
First step: get some new gear - notably a couple of Canon 580 EX or 580 EX II. And possibly also an off-shoe-cord.
Another great and incredible in-depth source of information on flash-photography for canon I found was the tutorials and articles written by Chuck Gardner.
Also these 3 articles from Canon should give some insight: Can't wait to dig deeper into this field.
